Teacher Ying founded Baby Tree Mandarin Immersion Preschool with a simple dream: to create a joyful, caring place where young children can grow, feel safe, and develop a love of Mandarin from an early age.

Born and raised in Shanghai, Ying is a native Mandarin speaker and holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Health Education from Fudan University. After moving to the Bay Area, she continued her education in Child Development at City College of San Francisco and received her Teacher Permit. She also maintains current CPR and First Aid certifications and fingerprint clearance.

As both the owner and a classroom teacher, Ying leads with warmth, calm confidence, and deep respect for each child and family. She believes that children thrive when they are given time to explore, play, and learn through meaningful, hands-on experiences.
